The Keystone Arch: A simplified approach to planning, design, and material selection for the Full-Arch Implant Restoration
The fundamental approach for full-arch implant restorations has changed, to incorporate advances in dental implant design, digital workflows and dental materials. This course will integrate these innovations to provide a current, systematic approach for the full-arch implant restoration. The Keystone Arch solution creates an implant foundation more suitable for zirconia restorations, maximizing durability and reducing the complexity of final restorations. Four basic implant foundation designs will be presented, with prosthetic design and material solutions that accompany each implant arrangement.
Learning Objectives:
- Appreciate the importance of tooth position relative to alveolar anatomy for diagnosis and planning procedures.
- Establish 4 basic implant foundations that can be selected from to meet each patient’s unique anatomy.
- Identify the critical surgical and prosthetic features of an implant system to utilized for full-arch implant restorations.
- Understand the impact of the implant foundation on material selection and restoration design.
